Management Metaphors
We had a bit of a slanging match today over dodgy management metaphors we had heard, or for some people, had actually used (I will not name names to protect those with families).....
Anyway, it all started with one I heard years ago whenever Dermot and myself worked for a consultancy firm....
......Shit or get off the toilet (a reference to being indecisive)
Back then we used to play lingo bingo on our palm pilots....there was so much verbal diarrhoea flying around!!
But Gerry came up with the best one.....
You're up to your knees in shit and don't have the wellies to get out of it!!

While we're on that subject, what about:

A personal favourite and one that comes in handy.
